Located in the heart of Trentham, one of the gems of the cool country, du Fermier takes its inspiration from classic french farmhouse cooking. Comfortable, honest food that is augmented by the daily bake, preserves and even some carefully sourced farm, garden and kitchen tools to take home.

ANNIE SMITHERS in your kitchen, on Christmas Day, all the trimmings, for twenty members of your family. CHRISTMAS – SORTED!
 
You arrange the drummers, pipers and lords, Ms Smithers will cover the geese a laying, the calling birds, French hens, partridge, pears and even the pudding. You provide your kitchen - Annie Smithers will take care of the food.
 
Six weeks of bidding and your twelve days of Christmas stress is gone – Annie in your kitchen will mean all you have to do is join the lords a leaping and settle in for a day of gastronomic celebration.
 
Renowned chef, cook, gardener, food extraordinaire Annie Smithers will leave her kitchen at du Fermier in Trentham – just for Christmas Day and is offering herself and her culinary talents to the highest bidder – all for a cause that is close to Annie’s heart.
 
Annie’s father was one of the 80,000 people to suffer from Parkinson’s disease in Australia. He passed two years ago this Christmas and Annie would like to celebrate his life by offering her love of food to make another families Christmas stress free and an event to remember.
So many families are coping with a family member or friend who has Parkinson’s – sharing special occasions, celebrations and Christmas with them should be shared with love and happiness.
 
Annie will arrive in your kitchen with everything to make your Christmas Day something to remember. She will cater for up to 20 guests and all food and appropriate staff will be provided.
 
All profits from the highest bidder will go to the Florey Institute, in memory of Annie’s beloved Dad to help further brain and neurological research and their essential work on neuroscience and brain diseases such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
 
Annie has said that she will travel anywhere – so dig deep for an amazing gift at Christmas and support essential research.
